Police advise caution over unexpected salesman

Skegness police have recieved a report of a male selling watches door to door on Saturday, July 26, in the Charles Close area of Skegness.

The male is described as in his 50’s, short in stature and well built.

He was wearing a white shirt and grey trousers and spoke with a french accent.

When a sale was declined the male is reported as being verbally aggressive.

Police advise to be cautious when answering the door to unexpected callers and say do not feel pressured into making a purchase.

Police request that if you see anyone going door to door matching the above description that you dial 101 and quote incident number 284 of Saurday, July 26.
