Sunday sunshine from Rasen volunteer group
A spot of bright spring sunshine was delivered to 200 local residents on Sunday, as Rasen Community Partnership delivered their latest goodie boxes ahead of Easter.
Since the first lockdown began, the group has been delivering occasional themed treats, as well as providing weekly hot meals for more vulnerable residents, as well as providing a shopping service for those shielding.

“The local churches provided an Easter card for recipients.
“Thanks go to members of Market Rasen Town Council, Rotary Club, Lions Club, MRAG, New Life Church and local residents for their help in preparing sandwiches, packing the ‘Yellow’ Easter Bags and delivering them to residents.
“We know the deliveries have been very much appreciated by all who received them.”
It is anticipated this will be the last mass delivery organised by the group as restrictions are now beginning to be lifted, however the sense of community will continue to be fostered.
