Staff at the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park have been left saddened after the death of one the tigers in its collection.

Eight-year-old Sangha, one of nine tigers at the Friskney park, had to be euthanised last week.

In a post on Facebook, the park said: “Sangha was an amazing guy but we could not let him suffer needlessly. See Ya Big Lad.”

He had been at the park for four years, after arriving from a private collection.

Sangha suffered from severe arthritis.
