A Lincolnshire-based choir has come together to honour VE Day celebrations across the county.

Members of Cranwell Military Wives Choir sang the iconic Vera Lynn hit We’ll Meet Again from the comfort of their homes during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Before lockdown, the choir would regularly perform across the county at prestigious events and fundraising concerts.

Catherine Priestly, who handles PR for Cranwell Military Wives Choir, said: “We thought you may like our VE day video.

“Very relevant obviously this weekend but also we do miss each other and hope it’s not too long before we get to sing together again rather than virtually!”
