Wednesday, 1.14pm - A NEW community beat manager has been appointed for Spilsby, Wainfleet and Burgh le Marsh.
PC Terry Standbrook, 30, will be a familiar face to many as he has been looking after the area on a temporary basis since September.
PC Standbrook lives in Spilsby and trained as a teacher before joining Lincolnshire Police in 2001.
He is a trained tutor and looks after probationary officers when they begin their careers. He is also a fully trained member of the Police Support Unit and Forward Intelligence Team.
He said: "It's great to finally be appointed to the job of community beat manager for Spilsby, Wainfleet and Burgh Le Marsh as up until now my future has been uncertain.
"Now I'm permanent I can really get stuck into tackling local issues and begin working towards long term resolution, so problems are nipped in the bud for good, not just a few days."
PC Standbrook is committed to tackling local issues and really making a difference.
He added: "Living locally I genuinely care about the area, its people and communities that make up my beat.
"Making a difference at local level is my motivation and I'll continue to work with my team to ensure Spilsby, Wainfleet, Burgh Le Marsh and the villages in between get the support they deserve."
PC Standbrook is supported by four PCSOs, Pete Cobley (Wainfleet/Burgh Le Marsh & Friskney), Jayne Richardson (Wainfleet/Burgh Le Marsh & Friskney), Phil Pollard (Spilsby/Partney & Stickford), and Andy Williamson (Spilsby/Partney & Stickford).
