AN afternoon of pampering, beauty and fun has managed to raise hundreds for charity.
The event was held at Orby Village Hall, last Saturday (May 19) from 2pm to 5pm, to help raise money for the charity, Breakthrough for Breast Cancer.
So far, £576 has been raised but organiser Angela Holmes hopes they can reach about £700.
“The whole day was fantastic and it was very well attended. I’m delighted with how much money we’ve managed to raise so far,” said Angela.
There were a number of stalls, selling crafts and luxurious beauty treatments and more selling chocolate and treats.
Stalls ranged from the Little Chocolatier from Louth, Sweet Fa selling handbags from Louth, Flutterbys who provided manicures, The Body Shop At Home, Heartofbuttons selling hand-made jewellery and many, many more on the day.
“There was over 100 people who attended throughout the day and it was a huge success. I would like to do another event for charity but not just yet,” added Angela.
Lots of prizes were provided by local businesses for the raffle which Angela is very grateful for, she added: “I would like to thank all the businesses who generously donated to the raffle with prizes. Also thanks go to everyone who took part and everyone who attended, it is very much appreciated,” said Angela.
