A grand opening of Skegness discount retailer’s new unit will take place next Saturday, it has been announced.
Home Bargains has been busy getting the former unit of the Co-operative Food Store in The Hildreds Shopping Centre, ready for its upscale from next door.
It was announced in April that Home Bargains was set to take the largest empty unit in Skegness.
The grand opening will take place from 8.30am on Saturday, July 20.
“We are pleased to announce that the Hildreds Shopping Centre has completed a lease agreement with Home Bargains which will be up-sizing from its existing unit and moving into the centre’s former Co-Op store,” said a spokesperson for NewRiver Retial, back in April.
“As one of the centre’s existing retailers this is a positive step to fill the large newly vacant unit,” they added.
The move will leave Home Bargains’ current unit vacant, with no confirmed announcements available about its prospective tenants.
Although, rumours have been circulating, suggesting that Sports Direct in Lumley Road, could be moving there.
