Networking event in Skegness on NHS

Kerry Parkinson, of Lincolnshire East CCG. said: “We are keen to promote local services, particularly health, social care and the voluntary sector, to residents of Skegness and surrounding areas.

“A range of organisations will be attending our event to promote their own services and we hope that it will be a good networking opportunity for them, as well as providing the chance for residents to understand what we do.”

In the future there is likely to be greater focus on providing more care closer to home, due to stretched resources.

“Focusing on bringing together all of the various specialties so that we can care for people closer to home will ultimately help avoid unnecessary hospital stays and re-admissions,” added Kerry.

Open to the public, the event is being run by Lincolnshire East Clinical Commissioning Group, and will be held at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness, on Wednesday, March 22. from 10.30am to 4pm. Organisations wishing to attend should email [email protected]
