Lincolnshire residents and visitors will get the chance to go whale and dolphin spotting this Saturday and Sunday as part of a national event.
National Whale & Dolphin Watch will hold sessions from Skegness Pier and the Cliud Bar at Anderby Creek.
“Hopes for sightings are high as last year during the Whale & Dolphin Watching Weekend, nine harbour porpoises were seen,” said a spokesperson.
The watches will take place from both venues between 10am and 4pm.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and find out more about these elusive marine mammals,” continued the spokesperson.
“Drop by at any time and stay for a long as you want.
“You never know, the sharp-eyed sea watcher may even spot a harbour porpoise or perhaps a minke whale which have recently been seen off the Yorkshire and Norfolk coasts.
“The Whale & Dolphin Watch sessions at Skegness Pier and Anderby Creek are organised by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Coastal Ranger Dave Miller.
The National Whale and Dolphin Watch Weekend is organised by the SeaWatch Foundation.
