Northcote Heavy Horse Centre’s ‘Knights of Northcote’ will entertain at a medieval event at the site this Sunday. The knights will show off their medieval skills and compete in a tournament.

Also demonstrating with his birds of prey will be Derek Tindal, who is the falconer from Lincoln Castle.

Terena Bolam, who runs the charity, said: “Derek puts on a fantastic display and allows the public to get involved with the demonstrations so they get hands on time with the birds.

“Other entertainment will be gymnastics on horseback, fire performances, dog displays, as well as archery and a bouncy castle. There will also be a tombola and stalls.”

Gates open at 10.45am and the show begins at 11.15am. Admission is £5 for adults, £3.50 per child/OAP.

Refreshments will be available. For more information, or to book a stall, call Terena on 07899 815960/01754 830286 or visit www.northcotehorses.com.
