The staff at The Nottingham building society of Skegness are getting into the spirit of Children in Need with a special visit from their friends Robin Hood and Maid Marion.

The legendary duo are taking up the challenge to ‘Be a Hero’ by supporting the annual BBC charity appeal.

Customer adviser Elly Coughlin said: “We would like to invite you all to our branch on Lumley Road for a tea or coffee and a homemade cake for a small donation to Children in Need.”

Also making merry for Children in Need are the team at Hairs and Graces in Chapel St Leonard’s who have already held a Halloween theme style cake and coffee sale and lucky dip. More fun is planned tomorrow (Friday) at the hair and beauty salon on South Road further fundraisers planned up to New Year’s Eve.
