Woman taken to hospital after Wainfleet level crossing incident
A 19-year-old woman was taken to hospital after her Renault Clio collided with a Ssanyong Rexon and a Honda Civic that were static at a Wainfleet level crossing yesterday afternoon.
The Midville woman collided with the vehicles when the barriers were down on the A52 crossing at Wainfleet yesterday at 3,20pm.
Several police cars attended the site and the air ambulance as a precautionary measure.
The woman was later taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston by road suffering from neck pain. She was discharged a short time later and will subsequently be reported for driving without due care and attention.
The road was reopened at 4.30pm.
