Website educates about 1953 floods
A website has been launched to educate young people about the Great Flood of 1953, in which 42 people on the east coast lost their lives.
Young people visiting www.y53.co.uk will be able to explore what happened on that fateful January night, discover what caused the flood and read survivors’ comments. Information on the current flood risk is also included.
