Wainfleet and Burgh police set for ‘Mark it at the Market’ sessions
Officers from the Burgh and Wainfleet Neighbourhood Policing Team will hold two ‘Mark It at the Market’ sessions this Saturday.
They will be at Burgh Le Marsh Market Place between 10am and noon then at Wainfleet Market Place from 1pm until 3pm.
PCSO Jayne Richardson said: “We’re inviting local people to bring along their mobile phones, sat nav, bikes or any portable valuables and have them property coded for free.
“Items that are lost or stolen often cannot be reunited with the rightful owners but a simple thing like postcode marking can make all the difference.”
Members of the public will also be able to obtain crime prevention advice and information as well as learning more about Lincs Alert, the community messaging system.
For any further information contact PCSO Jayne Richardson 07939 312783 or PCSO Pete Cobley 07939 312884. Alternatively, email wainfleet.npt@lincs.pnn.police.uk.
