VIDEO: Motorists urged to take care after sudden thaw leads to localised flooding
Motorists have been urged to take care after the rapid thaw led to incidents of localised flooding around Lincolnshire.
The A158 near Sausthorpe, between the B1195 turning and the Partney roundabout, was one of many stretches of road hit by either standing water or streams/rivers in flood at the weekend (see video).
And to make matters worse for motorists, the frost overnight into Monday left some of the roads treacherously slippy, especially where flood water had been standing.
