Skegness homes and businesses are counting the cost of a second bout of flash flooding in as many weeks.

On Tuesday, June 24, flash flooding hit parts of Skegness and for a second time on Sunday, July 13, torrential downpours have caused yet more damage.

Firefighters from Skegness, Wainfleet and Spilsby were called out to deal with eight flooding incidents, pumping out flood water from properties in the town.

The Embassy Theatre was again one of the business to suffer the same ill fate as they did from the previous flash flood.
