VIDEO: Car allegedly '˜had failed to stop for a police officer' before serious collision in Hagworthingham

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) have said that they will not be investigating the circumstances of a serious collision on the A158 in Hagworthingham in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The matter was referred to the IPCC after it was revealed that the Astra involved had allegedly failed to stop for a police officer prior to the collision - however, Lincolnshire Police have today confirmed that they were not in ‘official’ pursuit of the vehicle at the time.

The IPCC have now passed the matter back for local investigation.
