UPDATE: Passenger also injured in ‘serious road traffic collision’ at Scremby

Lincolnshire Police have reported a ‘Serious road traffic collision’ on the A158, Main Road, Scremby and have also confirmed that a passenger from one of the vehicles was also injured.

Police were called to the road traffic collision at Scremby, near Spilsby, just before mid-day today (Tuesday 18th February).

Two vehicles were involved in the collision.

Fire and Rescue, air and land ambulances and police all attended the scene.

The road is closed at Partney roundabout and at Gunby and diversions are in place.

One of the drivers has been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance and the other driver is being taken to Boston Pilgrim hospital by ambulance.

It is believed that serious injuries have been sustained, but there is currently no further information about this.

Police are requesting that drivers avoid the area.
