UPDATE: Fatal Saleby Good Friday collision victims named

The names have been formally released by Police of the two people who died in a collision at Saleby, near Alford, on Good Friday.

The first fatality was Jean Thomas, 70, of Jacklin Crescent, Mablethorpe, who died at the scene.

Matthew Ellis, 16, of Bunkers Hill, Lincoln then died on Saturday evening.

Another six people remain in serious condition in hospital.

Police are still appealing for witnesses and ask anyone who was in the area of the A1104 at Snape Hill, near Alford, at 4.30pm on Good Friday.

They ask anyone who saw the collision itself or saw either the black Vauxhall Corsa or the red Ford C-Max prior to the collision to call police on 101 or the witness hotline on 01522 558855, quoting incident number, 281 of April 18.
