UPDATE: Driver arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after vehicle leaves road on A52 between Wainfleet All Saints and Croft
16:00 - A motorist has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a one vehicle road crash took place on the A52 between Wainfleet All Saints and Croft earlier today (Sunday).
Officers from Lincolnshire Police’s roads policing unit were called to the incident sometime between 9am and 10am this morning.
Commenting on Twitter, they said the vehicle was “off the road having rolled into a field”.
In a later Twitter update the police added: “No-one was hurt but the driver has been arrested after failing a roadside breath test.”
Earlier the police said that the road had been able to remain fully open in the aftermath of the crash.
