UKIP set to return to Skegness

The UK Independence Party is set to return to Skegness with its latest conference this weekend.

The party, which were the first mainstream political party to hold a conference in Skegness for almost three decades when they stopped by last year, will return on February 16 and 17 with their East Midlands Regional Conference.

The latest event will be held in Grand Central in Grand Parade.

The Conference opens at 9.30am for 10am prompt, at a cost of £10 for the day.

There is also a leaders’ luncheon for £15 per person and a gala night to conclude the Saturday at £25 per person.

Subjects to be discussed include wind farms, EU migration, the referendum issue, transport, finance and more.

Speakers are set to include Professor Tim Congdon CBE (a financial advisor to Margaret Thatcher whilst she was in power), and a number of MEPs. Skegness town councillor Robin Hunter-Clark will also address the audience.
