Council bosses have said they will move on travellers who have pitched up off North Parade.

The council say caravans appeared on Skegness’ Seaview Pullover Car Park some point overnight on Thursday, August 7.

A spokesman for East Lindsey Disrict Council (ELDC) said: “With the Police, we have this morning made the occupants aware of the High Court Order in place on the car parks and Tower Esplanade and have requested they move on.”

Following similar cases on Princes Parade and North Parade Car Parks in June and throughout Easter this year ELDC were granted a court order by Birmingham High Court which requires anyone unlawfully occupying the foreshore car parks, as well as Tower Esplanade and the Princes Parade extension (grassed overflow car park) to move within four hours of a formal request.
