The Storehouse in Skegness and Lindsey Coast Radio are latest grant recipients
Two local causes are each several hundred pounds better off after district councillors awarded them grants.
Skegness councillor Steve O’Dare has given £800 to The Storehouse in Skegness to contribute towards food supply cost and provide a new freezer.
And fellow Skegness councillor Carl Macey has given £700 to Lindsey Coast Radio to contribute towards the cost of outside broadcast equipment, a mixing desk, amp and speakers and a portable recorder.
The grants were awarded through the councillor community initiative scheme.
This sees each councillor given access to a small cash pot each year from which they can award grants to worthy causes in their area.
