Teenager attacked in Chapel St Leonards

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was attacked and robbed in Chapel St Leonards.

The incident happened around half past midnight on Monday, June 2 as the 17 year-old victim was walking along a footpath next to the Beach caravan site, near the ramp to the beach.

His i-phone was stolen after being punched in the face and knocked to the ground by two men who had asked for a cigarette.

Both were white in their late teens or early 20s, and of slim build. One was wearing a grey jumper with a picture of a woman and the other had a black hoody. One spoke with a South Yorkshire accent.
