The Skegness RNLI team sprung into action after receiving reports of a suspected missing person who was thought have gone walking on the beach.

At 7.39pm on Friday, February 22, the small lifeboat was launched and a person was found safe and well on Winthorpe beach.

“The large lifeboat was prepared at 7.52pm but it was not needed as the person was found,” said an RNLI spokesperson.

A call is believed to have been made to the police by a concerned friend regarding the other teen, found later on the beach.
