Family, friends and supporters of Team Smith are once again inside The Hildreds Shopping Centre this week raising awareness and collecting signatures for a petition.
The group set up shop last week and were back from Monday until tomorrow, in the former La Senza unit.
Hundreds of additional signatures have been collected so far for the petition fighting to make it a legal requirement to wear a helmet on a bike.
Team Smith are also selling t-shirts, clothing, bumper stickers and more to help raise money for The Ryan Smith Foundation.
There is also, cakes, a tombola and help on hand for families who may be going through a similar situation.
The family and friends of teen Ryan Smith, who was involved in a cycle accident while not wearing a helmet, have been raising money and awareness since it happened.
Ryan has been making progress in hospital and all are urged to sign either the e-petition which has gained more than 8,000 signataries in total so far via website or by popping into the shop within the Hildreds’ which is open until closing time tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Team Smith shop will be open again during the school holidays, from October 21,22 and 23.
