A TALENTED hypnotist from Skegness got the chance to perform for the stars when he was chosen to attend a prestigious party.

Stage hypnotist Ian Dee was chosen among lots of other hopefuls in the UK to entertain guests at the engagement party of boxing champion Amir Khan and his wife-to-be, American student Faryal Makhdoom, last Sunday.

The £150,000 bash was held at the Rebook Stadium in Amir’s hometown of Bolton.

Amir presented his fiancée with a stunning three diamond ring, believed to have cost £100,000, during the special ceremony,

The New York born beauty then presented her husband-to-be with an equally impressive platinum band.

A thousand guests joined the couple to celebrate their happy news, among them were many famous faces from the world of sport including, Rio Ferdinand, Ricky Hatton. Bolton Wanderers star, Kevin Davies, Amir’s cousin, England cricketer Sajid Mahmood, and his former trainer Mick Jelley. .

Ian said of his experience at the event and the performance: “The show went down really well and the day was really enjoyable.”

Ian’s mind reading/hypnosis show can be seen locally this year at Scallywags, Fantasy Island, Ingoldmells, on a Wednesday, as well as in the Suncastle, on North Parade Skegness, on a Thursday.
