Thirty boarders from Skegness Grammar School’s Wainfleet Hall took part in the Rotary’s annual Santa Fun Run this morning (Sunday) to raise money for the Ryan Smith Foundation.
The 30 youngsters were among 250 racers taking part in the charity event.
The race raises money for a number of local casues, although the Grammar students were carrying buckets and taking additional sponsorship for the Ryan Smith Foundation.
“Next week we will be collecting the sponsor money,” said a school spokesperson, “Every boarder completed the run!”
“Any further donations will be very gratefully received, and can be handed in to our Boarding Administrator, Pam Howes, at Skegness Grammar School.
“Well done to all!”
