Skegness fire crew attends bin fire on Lumley Road caused by careless smoker
Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue’s Skegness crew were called out to a bin fire in Lumley Road, Skegness at midday today (Wednesday).
The call came in at 11.58am after a bin was accidentally set alight in the town centre street.
The cause was “carelessly discarded smoking materials”.
The fire crew extinguished it using a hose reel.
