Skegness 45-year-old cyclist injured in Ida Road collision

Following a collision between a car and a cyclist this morning, a 45-year-old Skegness man has been taken to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital.

Lincolnshire Police said the man suffered facial injuries after colliding with a Mini On Skegness’s Ida Road, at 8.35am, however the 20-year-old female driver from Skegness was uninjured.

The man’s injuries are not thought life-threatening as the man was talking and conscious at the scene, but has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The road was closed until 11.30am
