Savannah is hired for The Apprentice
Tuesday, 13.26pm - A YOUNG model from Wainfleet will appear in the new series of The Apprentice - but has no need to worry about being fired by feisty Sir Alan Sugar.
Savannah Le Mans, 11, was selected by the new contestants to be used as part of a campaign project designed by the business tycoon.
She was contacted through her London model agency Julia Adams, but the part was shrouded in mystery.
Savannah's mum Sally Le Man said: "I'm very proud of her and very shocked she's going to be in the show.
"I knew there was something wrong when the agency was being very secretive. It was only the night before the shoot we were told the job was for The Apprentice."
Savannah, who attends Alford's John Spendluffe Technology College, had to model for a selection of greeting cards which the contestants had to create and market to impress Sir Alan.
She said: "I was really scared to be doing something for such a famous show.
"I did enjoy it, I just found it quite serious compared to shoots I've done before.
"I didn't meet Sir Alan, but I didn't mind because he scares me a bit. I didn't want to get fired!"
The Apprentice follows 16 people hoping to dazzle legendary businessman Sir Alan Sugar to win a six-figure job.
Savannah, a Janice Sutton dancer in Skegness and a host of the Disco-Club, a pre-teen disco at the LA Cafe, Skegness, is no stranger to modelling.
She was a cover girl for Angelina Ballerina and Disney Girl magazines, as well as doing jobs for Marks and Spencer and French Etam.
She also starred in an ITV programme last year called The Beauty Salon Killer.
The new series will begin tonight, Wednesday, on BBC1 at 9pm. Savannah's show is expected to air in about three weeks.
