Safeguarding the future of Scouting
Steps have been taken to safeguard the future of Scouting in Spilsby.
Last Friday, the 2nd Spilsby Scout Group held an emergency meeting at its base in Pooles Lane to find committee members.
The group had been without a full committee for some time, but following the meeting a number of parents agreed to take on roles.
District commissioner Rob Johnson said: “This is a massive achievement for the group and forms a positive future in safeguarding this group.”
