After winning ‘The Woof Factor’, to find the stage dog for Janice Sutton’s performance of ‘Annie’, Rupert returned to the Janice Sutton Theatre School studio to start his rehearsals recently.
Rupert is now busy training for his role of ‘Sandy’, whom he shares with his doggy friend Ollie in the show which opens at the Embassy Theatre, on April 3-6.
The ‘hard knock life’ orphans were there to meet him, along with trainer, Debbie Eales, who runs the canine dog training classes in Skegness.
Rupert and Ollie have been putting their big paws forward and learning new tricks to give a ‘howling’ performance, when runaway Annie meets her abandoned and loveable companion ‘Sandy’, which will touch the hearts’ of the audience, as they both find family love in their lives.
