RNLI benefits from councillor donation
Coun Neil Cooper presenting a 1,000 cheque to the Skegness RNLI
Volunteer life-savers at the Skegness RNLI have benefitted from a £1,000 donation made by a local councillor.
Coun Neil Cooper selected the RNLI as one of his chosen charities to support during his term as Lincolnshire County Council chairman.
Speaking after the recent cheque presentation at the boathouse Coun Cooper, said: “It was a pleasure to hand over £1,000 to the Skegness RNLI, which will go some way toward the enormous costs of maintaining the lifeboat service in Skegness.”
