Family fun will be the order of the day at Northcote Heavy Horse Centre near Spilsby on Sunday for its summer fete.
The day is set to have a packed programme of horse demonstrations, an aerial performance, birds of prey, fire show, egg and spoon races and traditional games, as well of lots of stalls and children’s rides.
The centre’s tea room will be open and there will be a barbecue, as well as a licensed bar.
The day is put on by volunteers who help to run the charity which takes in horses and ponies that would have had nowhere else to go to for whatever reason.
A spokesman for the centre said: “The centre receives no grants or funding so these days are very important in order to raise the funds for the horses keep, and even more so with the last event in May having had to be cancelled due to heavy rainfall.”
The day starts with the gates opening at 10.45am and the fun gets under way at 11.15am, ending with meeting the horses at 3pm.
Admission is £5 for adults and £3.50 for child/OAP and all money raised goes straight to the care of the resident horses that live at the charity.
