Young people taking the next step in their life are being invited to sign up for a ‘life-changing and adventurous’ personal development course in Skegness and seven other locations in Lincolnshire.
The Prince’s Trust team programme - run locally by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue - offers people aged 16 to 25 a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ opportunity to develop the skills essential for success.
Team members are taken on a 12-week personal development programme involving action-packed outdoor activities like caving and climbing, as well as team challenges, community work, a job placement, and careers guidance.
Kim Jones from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “The Prince’s Trust team programme is a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop skills, as well as get work experience and qualifications.
“Around 70 per cent of those who take part go on to make great achievements in work and education. And it’s great fun.”
The course is designed to boost young people’s confidence and motivation plus much more.
Dates for 2014 have been revealed, with eight courses available at different times and locations, including one in Skegness on January 20.
