Police update on drivers involved in Skegness crash

Police have released further details about the motorists involved in this afternoon’s crash in Skegness.

The Honda Jazz’s driver, who was admitted to Boston Pilgrim with ‘minor seatbelt injuries,’ is an 87-year-old Skegness man.

And a 25-year-old Skegness man, who was driving the Ford Transit, has also been taken Boston Pilgrim with back injuries, contrary to previous reports that he was unhurt.

The two drivers collided around the junction between Lincoln road and Grosvenor Road slightly before 2pm today.

The road from Berry Way was closed to allow access for emergency services.
