The most succesful British gymnast of all-time paid a visit to Spilsby’s King Edward VI school today (Wednesday).

She spent a full afternoon with the staff and children.

During the last-minute visit, the three time Olympic champion gymnast, Beth Tweddle, spoke about her career and what the future has in store.

Her achievements include being an Olympic bronze medalist, a triple world champion, a six-time European champion, a Commonwealth champion and seven-times consecutive national champion.

She also taught a masterclass with some lucky students and some were able to have a VIP lunch with the famous Olympian.

Skegness standard reporter Lee Croft was able to get an exclusive interview with Beth and was on hand to take video of a special question and answer session lead by King Edward VI students.

Keep an eye on the web and in next week’s paper for the full story and interview.
