Plans for a multi-million pound aquarium on Skegness seafront could pave the way for new jobs and provide a welcome boost to the local economy.

Teenspirit Ltd, which operates a number of attractions in the town, wants to redevelop Panda’s Palace indoor play area into the year-round attraction.

The company has submitted a planning application for the aquarium, expected to create around 25 local jobs. The multi-million pound themed attraction features a sunken ship wreck, interactive touch pools and ‘dive experience’ roaming amongst the species. The building’s owners East Lindsey District Council, has welcomed the plan. Read more in today’s Skegness Standard.
