Melodies by the Lake raises cash
A musical afternoon beside a picturesque lake raised a significant sum for two worthy causes.
UNDERPRIVILEGED children and terminally ill Lincolnshire patients have benefited from a musical fundraiser held in Well, near Alford recently.
Malcolm and Anne White’s second Melodies by the Lake event raised more than a thousand pounds to be split between the Thanlyn Orphange in Burma, Lincs With India and St Andrew’s Hospice in Lincolnshire.
Around 220 people attended the event on a ‘glorious’ afternoon to watch several talented bands, musicians and dance troupes performing at the picturesque lakeside setting in Well. Mr and Mrs White have thanked everyone for their support.
