I am 83, and live in Scotland, and on April 9, I had a fall in Chapel St Leonards, while visiting my sister.
The first gentleman, Colin, came out with his car and because I had a head injury as well as a broken arm he decided I needed an ambulance to go to Pilgrim Hospital rather than Skegness Hospital.
One came, and the paramedics Mark Smith and Dave Lee, as well as Colin were wonderful.
I also want to praise the nurses at Pilgrim Hospital – they were lovely there, they were very caring and very wonderful.
All this helped make a traumatic experience a bit easier.
