Over 250 runners turned out for this year’s Skegness Santa Fun Run, which took place this morning (Sunday).

Fundraisers donned Santa suits and fake beards to tackle the course along Skegness seafront.

The ‘race’ got underway shortly after 10.30am, after BBC Radio Lincs’ Howard Leader and Skegness Deputy Mayor Gerge Saxon turned up to do the honours.

The event, which is run by the Rotary Club of Skegness, helps raise funds for vital local causes, including the air ambulance.
