Hundreds donated to sports charity
A sum of £400 has been awarded to the Skegness-based Lincolnshire Extreme Sports Association to enable the group to upgrade helmets no longer fit for purpose.
The money comes from members of East Lindsey District Council for Skegness Winthorpe, Coun Danny Brookes and Coun Susan Blackburn, through the authority’s Community Grants scheme.
The association, a registered charity, meets At X-Site Skatepark, in Sea View Pullover.
