Hay and hedgerow on fire in Alford
About 60 half-tonne bales of hay and around 30 metres of hedgerow went up in flames in Alford on Sunday night.
Firefighters from Alford & Spilsby were called to Tothby Lane, near Alford Police Station, where the fire was reported just before 6.40pm.
Two water hoses were used to put the fire out and crews were also assisted by a farmer with an agricultural teleporter.
The scene was then monitored by a fire crew from Mablethorpe.
