Have your say on ELDC spending priority
East Lindsey residents have been invited to have their say in the district council’s spending priorities for the next financial year.
East Lindsey District Council has launched a consultation, which lasts until Friday, 23 November, seeking local views on council services they believe should be prioritised amid significant budget cuts. ELDC’s portfolio holder for finance, Coun John Upsall, said: “We are leaving no stone unturned in identifying opportunities for savings and we continue to work hard to be more efficient in the services we provide. “It is really important that people living in East Lindsey take this opportunity to help shape our future spending priorities. “It’s a tough time for local government finances and we need feedback from the community as part of this consultation to ensure we’re spending the money we have where it is most needed.”
Consutlation forms are available at the Embassy Leisure Centre in Skegness and people can also have their say online by going to www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/consultation.
