Gunby man injured in A158 collision

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a traffic accident near Skegness.

Emergency services were called to the A158 at Burgh le Marsh at 5.30pm yesterday (Tuesday) after a white Ford Focus collided with a Honda motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a 46 year-old man from Gunby, suffered serious fractures and internal injuries and was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre Nottingham.

The driver of the Focus, a 49 year-old man from the Skegness area, was uninjured.

The road was closed until after midnight.
