It was all happening in Burgh with a festival held at the Dobson’s Windmill last weekend organised by the Burgh Events Committee.
Among the many attractions was a dog show, judged by former police dog handler Jeff Whyatt. Winners were Morgan, owned by Janet Harris, Monty, owned by Jo Marsters and Daisy, owned by Julie and Sam. All the entrants received a prize.
There were various stalls, including crafts, a raffle, a tombola and competitions.
The barbecue, manned by members of the Burgh Baptist Church, proved popular as did the tearoom with many choosing to sit outside in the sunshine.
The Burgh Methodist Church once again excelled with their flower festival on the theme of musicals.
Earlier in the day, a coffee and cake morning, hosted by Pat and Mick Capes , raised £323 towards the repair of the church roof.
The festival weekend concluded with a united service on Tinkers Green.
