Four Lincs firefighters head to Denmark for international earthquake drill
Firefighters from Lincolnshire embarked on an 18-hour ferry crossing to Denmark this morning (Thursday) ahead of an international search and rescue exercise in Europe.
The four members of Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue will be part of the UK’S Inernational Search and Rescue team when it participates in an exercise involving a simulated earthquake.
A spokesperson said: “This will test international preparedness for a disaster. [We’re] looking forward to hearing about their experiences when they come back!”
