FLOOD water wreaked havoc across the county on Monday.
Torrential rain began falling on Sunday night and through the early hours of Monday causing water to submerge roads, flood fields and even houses.
As the water continued to fall last night, Monday, further flood warnings were issued urging people to be aware and try to protect their homes.
The River Steeping, which flows through Wainfleet and Spilsby areas, was threatening to flood after the deluge and is now subject of a severe flood warning.
Schools in Skegness, Alford and Spilsby were forced to close and the Partney pumping station and Spar were unable to open due to flooding.
Homes in Partney and Skegness were also flooded.
The fire service was inundated with calls for help to pump away flood water.
Traffic was disrupted throughout the area as water swamped roads, particularly in the villages around Spilsby and Alford.
And there were reports of trains being cancelled and some homes on the coast being left without electricity.
