Elderly motorist injured in Skegness crash

An elderly motorist was taken to hospital with ‘minor seatbelt injuries’ after a crash in Skegness earlier today.

The man’s Honda Jazz collided with a Ford Transit around the junction between Lincoln Road and Grosvenor Road, shortly before 2pm.

Police closed the road from Berry Way to allow access for emergency vehicles.
The elderly motorist was taken to Boston Pilgrim and the other driver, whose van was registered to a Cumbrian company, was reportedly uninjured.
